My Home grown Fresh Flower Season generally runs from April until October, however the weather may allow us to have flowers earlier in the season - keep an eye on Facebook, Instagram and on here for updates.

During the season, when available, bunches of flowers will be put in the Flower Shed on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - please order to guarantee availability. An ‘Open’ will be on the sign on the Flower Shed and on the sign outside the house. Payment by cash or using QR code please.

Please place orders for flowers, bouquets and buckets with a minimum of 24 hours notice to allow for picking and conditioning. Flowers will be available for collection on Tuesday through to Saturday.

Pick Your Own will run twice weekly in the season

Local delivery available on a Friday, please enquire.

All collections will be from The Black Horse Flower Shed.

Occasionally there may be plants, fruit and vegetables for sale in the Shed.

Why not order a subscription, or a Pick Your Own Voucher for yourself or as a present for a loved one? It would make a lovely gift

Flowers grown as nature intended

Our flowers are grown sustainably on our Cumbrian smallholding in the Western Yorkshire Dales National Park without the use of pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers (other than compost and natural homemade teas) in an aim to encourage bees and other wildlife (small furry creatures can be challenging!!!).

We will sell any spare plants (flower and vegetable). All our plants are grown in organic peat free compost.

Your small local flower grower is the truly sustainable grower within an environmentally very damaging flower industry.
