Natural, Flora, Fauna & Funga Friendly Flowers
January - February
Happy New Year
Dried flowers are still a gogo.
The spring, longer days and warmth are still a month or three off, but there is still much flowery loveliness to be had during the winter months with my dried flowers, there only a few sustainable fresh flowers available at this time of year. My naturally dried flowers (no artificial heat, dyes or preservatives here) are being arranged onto heart shaped wreaths, on a willow or cornus base, in preparation for Valentines day. These are an additional offering to my dried flower wreaths, and bunches, bouquets and vases of dried flowers. Hopefully this new, to me, sustainable method of displaying my flowers provides beauty and joy. An everlasting present for a loved one. Come and have a look at Kendal Farmers Market on the dates below, or at Fifty Seven, for a coffee and peruse, on the Main Street, Sedbergh LA10 5AB on the dates below. Please keep an eye on social media where I will update my creations, which I don’t always list here. If you can‘t make it to see me in person, I can post. Please do get in touch.

Flowers grown as nature intended
Our flowers are grown sustainably on our Cumbrian smallholding in the Western Yorkshire Dales National Park without the use of pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers (other than compost and natural homemade teas) in an aim to encourage bees and other wildlife (small furry creatures and slugs can be challenging!!!).
We will sell any spare plants (flower and vegetable). All our plants are grown in organic peat free compost.
Your small local flower grower is the truly sustainable grower within an environmentally very damaging flower industry.
